  • Exported it as PDF

Activity (on 11.3.2024):

  • Refined the one page design based on pre-feedback
  • Split the parts into multiple boxes
  • Used the diagram to represent game flow

Notes:

Today, I looked at the video about one page design documents and I took that as an inspiration about creating my own document. The game itself is inspired from the Flash game called MoneySeize (https://armorgames.com/play/4141/moneyseize). The goal of the game is to collect all the coins (1010 in total). Some coins are behind enemies and some behind birds, which do have their limitiations. My project is about having a single level where the goal is to collect all the keys using as few attempts as possible. Some keys might dissapear after certain amount of time, killing enemy or losing a health. Player can enter the exit door prematurely to save the progress (keys) and restart the level, however it will take one attempt to save.

I used a screenshot from Project T, added some key variations (changed their color) and make a screenshot as a reference.

Update 11.3.2024: I have reworked the design document to put indiviual parts into separate boxes. I also decided to use flow diagrams to show the gameplay look.

Invested hours:

  • Watching the video: 50 minutes
